however, I've seen NLRs do their job and I've seen then fail miserably... Either way I have a problem with a sweeping notion, mostly from monday morning quarterback liberals who love to question LE with stupid ideas like why don't cant you just try "shooting people in the leg", or wondering why cops just don't go and "tackle that guy with a knife"....
I'm kinda tired of cops being forced to be over concerned about some asshole who decided he needed to start endangering others' lives.
Even though there were multiple officers on scene, with the effectiveness of the nlr (3 shots) they were lucky that the perp wasn't aggresive. In the sense of trying to attack. The perp was mostly in a defensive posture the whole time. IDK, I guess I believe in the Indiana Jones method of dealing with knives.
