Beloit, in Wisconsin, releases its Mindset List each year to note things that college freshmen have never lived without, and point out things or people they never lived with.

43. Humans have always had implanted radio frequency ID chips—slightly larger than a grain of rice.
This one seems a bit suspect, but it could be an error of semantics on their part. It all hinges on their use of "had" here.
