It's pretty cool that Mark Cuban is concerned about an entitlement mentality developing in his kids. One of those "if he can do it, I know I can too" kind of moments for me. Just wanted to share that moment.

I really like both his and the Gates position on this.

Didn't know about Gates approach but I'll look for something on it. I saw the James Harrison story and I think he did the right thing if it was done with love. I wonder if this approach will gain any long term traction.... I'm hopeful. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13447657/james-harrison-pittsburgh-steelers-takes-away-kids-participation-trophies-says-awards-earned">http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13447657/james-harrison-pittsburgh-steelers-takes-away-kids-participation-trophies-says-awards-earned

Saw this. I *think* I agree with Harrison, at least on the front that we should work for what we earn.

That rang true when I first saw it. It was like one of the Wayne's brothers popping out from behind the scenery and saying "Message!" in that Don't Be A Menace To South Central movie....if you can relate to that.
