The Swimmer is in a class by itself, it resembles no other movie that I can think of, there is nothing I can compare it to, and that ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls is the highest compliment I can pay to any movie. The Swimmer is unique, original and one of a kind, open to multiple interpretations and wearing a weird, psychedelic, hallucinatory edge all its own.
