My thoughts too daemon. I read the short article and recognized the exact same leadership instincts that make an effective combat leader. These can be honed with effective training, but in some the ability is more intuitive. Malcom Gladwell's "Blink" came to mind.

All that it took was for one leader to stand up and command action. Thank you for being that leader here, Ms. Fares.
I liked this quote especially, "I was really bossy, but I think people needed to be told what to do."

Exactly. I doubt the woman would have been pulled from the car were it not for her bossiness.
