Looking at this, in light of knowing how science works. I think there are some flaws. 1. It was made by a company selling a thing that caters to picking up poop, so conflict of interest. 2. Supposed types of poo bacteria, most can/should be vaccinated against, or if your dog is carrying them you will already be getting sick and are probably dead. 3. Wastewater treatment is designed to filter all waste, kinda the point, which is why one option for disposal the EPA recommends is flushing it. 4. I read the EPA site on pet waste and it made no comparison to chemical or oil spills.
Not trying to be a jerk, just thought I would point these things out as there is an increasing amount of bad information out there. We pick up after our dogs most of the time (rain/hail tend to dissuade), because it is polite to do so. Think we should encourage people to do things because it is good manners.
