I really am not sure. I have been reading the information I can find about the story, but there is little out there. I simply meant what I said. Something (more information) is missing from this story. The complete picture has not been presented.
From everything I have put together it looks like the local sheriff had a grudge against them. Will be interesting to see what happens at the hearing Monday. Supposedly CPS was at the homestead this morning and gave a good report of the living conditions.
A little more information on the family in their own words. The information that is missing is the nature of the complaint. Was this regarding education, living conditions or something else? I certainly do not like seeing a family broken up.
While listening to the Mother's audio recording, the Sheriff relates that while getting water from a location off of their property (all of their water must be brought in) the Father was told he was not welcome to do so any longer. The Father then allegedly told one of the children to go get his gun out of the glove compartment of the vehicle. Clip 1 @ 11:10

We homeschool, and stories like this make me sick. What sort of country allows SWAT tactics in situations like this? I'm very afraid for America.

This seems to be the origination of the complaint according to the initial conversation between the Sheriff and the Mother.

So they didn't arrest the dad, they came in without a warrant and took the kids? And of course arrested the wife? Seems a touch crazy.
