Kind of Blue is unequivocally one of the greatest albums of all time. Any person who is a purveyor of musical talent would enjoy it, regardless of whether they might be a jazz fan. Not to mention it was recorded during a time that musicians played live together in a studio with no computer effects. If you got it wrong, you did it over. Not an easy thing to do in jazz.
Amen. Kind of Blue is one of those timeless albums that has stood on its own for so long. I've wondered if those musicians knew at the time, in the studio with Miles, that they were recording something so meaningful.

No Vince Guaraldi? A Charlie Brown Christmas is a great jazz album and definitely the best Christmas album ever.
