My wife bought this for me for Christmas. Yes, I love to cook and loved it as a gift! It works very well. You are supposed to avoid using soap and use other methods instead as Razorback has posted recently in http://gentlemint.com/tack/237054/. I use this in conjunction with the salt technique.

No problem. I have enjoyed it. It is a little slippery when wet so if you have a disposal make sure it does not slide into it. That is my only fear I have had with it.

I've been using one for the last year. Works great, especially on stuff like eggs, and as far as I can tell, has had zero effect on the seasoning.

I bought one after this post and I've used it about 8 times in the last two weeks. It's awesome! Planning to buy a couple more for family members who use cast iron a lot as well. Awesome product, thanks.
