Well... I generally enjoy a little of every genre of music, well except maybe what goes for "country" music in the US these days. At the moment I float between Gangstagrass and Two Steps from Hell for my workouts. I enjoy KPOP much more than most of the current herd of American pop "artists". Imagine if I could understand the lyrics I would like it even more, but that is obviously not their fault.
Listening to some of the more popular KPOP artists that come up with a bit of Google searching I would say there is a lot of talent there. I am curious as to why they seem to mix in a lot of English words in their lyrics. Has a fun effect for poor mono linguists like me.
Doesn't do anything for me. Of course, I am a purist in that I believe in real music made with real instruments by real musicians. I do not see or hear any of those here.
But music is like art. Each person has their own interpretation of what is good or bad.
I didn't care for this. I feel like these "artists" are hired on their look, attitude and willingness to be.. pawns I guess is how I would say it. Seems like the industry finds these people and then pours marketing on them to reap the return.
