I dunno, I kinda doubt it. I'm sure Apple would like to, but Musk has said for a few years now that he wants competition in order to broaden the market. He also has way too much interest in developing other technologies that he can spring board from his motor company. Apple's way of doing business isn't at all compatible either so I just can't see Mr. Musk going for a deal like that.

That would be interesting. After working at Apple if Steve were running the show he would probably never allow it. He was a firm believer in keeping focus on what a company does well. Cars are not it. I am sure he would have never agreed to the Beats purchase. He felt Apple lost its way in the 90's due to lack of focus. But again seems they may be going down that path already.

Yes, a car company makes no sense for Apple. But they do have a load of cash burning a hole in Timmy's pocket. I just wish he would concentrate more on a good gold master than how best to flaunt his homosexuality. Yosemite and iOS 8 were not good experiences for me.
