As a career firefighter in a decent sized city, I would place military and police in front. Im at a busy station and dont get a lot of sleep on my 24 hour shift. However, when we arent fighting fire or responding to medicals and car wrecks, we have an air conditioned/heated station with all the comforts of home. Hardly the primitive living conditions of a military camp in the middle east. I love the job stresses of being a firefighter. Some of it sucks of course, but there are a lot of whiny firemen out there when they have to un-ass a recliner and go do the job they get paid for.
