These are about as easy as it can get. I live in the land of very sticky NC clay. Yesterday was particularly wet and muddy. Although clay will stick to most anything I just use our hose outside and spray them off while wearing them. I have been well up close to the top of the laces and never had them leak. Or just have a clean off tray to stomp into before heading indoors. Also to note that the soles do not have a support shank like work boots so they are more flexible. This may be of a help when stomping around in creeks, rocks etc. But not the best leverage with a stiffer sole. Also take note of the sizing recommendations. They are sized for a thicker sock for cold climates. I would size down as the recommend if you wear medium or think/dress socks as I do.
