The title is misleading seemingly wanting us to believe that the author Chris Ladd is a GOP Columnist. By his own admission he is a "moderate liberal". Go check it out http://goplifer.com/about/">http://goplifer.com/about/ and his posts show distain for anything GOP. Read for yourself http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-ladd/">http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-ladd/ He posts on The Huffington Post and linked to the Daily Kos. I think it's pretty fair to say both "lean" to the left politically. ( I wasn't able to find any of his posting on any GOP sites) Not really a far reach to think the "The very bad news for the GOP in the GOP's midterm victory" is more of a feel good article for the left base.
I get it now. Thanks. My hope is that the gop doesn't screw things up with more political stalemate, and we end up getting Hillary as a president. The gop needs to get together as a whole and move forward.
my hope is that the GOP doesn't think the 2014 midterm success doesnt automatically translate to victory in 2016 or give them a mandate to do crazy conservative things. Independents and dems did not turn out for 2014. In texas, only 17% of the voting polulation turned out and we had a Governors race. 2016 is going to be very interesting. Republicans have to reach new voters, younger voters and minority voters (not minoritys much longer though).
I agree with you. They need to be smart. Really have to get the minority voters. Help them to see that the media propaganda machine is full of lies, and half truths.
