God I hate to say it, and it's terribly tragic... but I agree 100%.
We've let people exist too long without experiencing the natural consequences of their actions. It's not about punishment, it's not about hate, it's just simple choices and consequences.
Why do we in society expect people to make better choices if we protect them from the natural consequences of their actions.
You want to burn down your own neighborhood, fine. No one should rebuild them then.
You want to riot and loot the stores that sell you food, well guess what then - why should any of those business return??
And if you want to get violent and attack innocent people, well I know what will happen if you show up at my door step looking to hurt someone. I won't lose that exchange, I guarantee you.
