Things pretty much turn green after that.

I would venture to say there is a direct correlation to the decline in our education system. Young people today are far less educated than their parents, grandparents and other past generations were. This, however, may also be intentional on the part of the government. Uneducated people are much easier to govern and are less likely to to rise against the government on a united front.

On the plus side, speeches no longer average 2-3 hours long. Unless BHO starts flapping his gums. Then time seems to stand still in a way that water-boarding could never replicate.

To clarify, I did not mean to imply that younger generations are dumber by any means, only that the level of education begin provided to them is not as robust. That is not their fault, it is the fault of our government and teacher unions.
