I understand people's fear of the virus--it's scary. But I think the bigger problem is the barrage of media coverage of the situation. Just today I saw a prominent--though I wouldn't say respectable--member of the media outlining how terrorists could and should be using Ebola to kill Americans.

Since this came from NPR I am taking it with a grain of salt. Pretty sure they will be right in line with the administration's "nothing to see here" attitude. About everything.

On a similar note regarding the administration saying there is nothing to worry about... If they had proven themselves to be competent and capable at with any other issue, I would like to believe them. I simply can't believe that TSA screeners and border agents screening people will prevent/solve the issue. There is a huge competency deficit for these guys so I choose to remain unafraid but quite wary.

If this diagram represents true reality then why has the disease proven impossible to halt for so long in Africa? All the countries that cut off travel from the epidemic zone just have no idea what they are doing according to this diagram.
Can someone pass me that grain of salt?
