I don't know why I should want to replace a Mossberg 590A1 but I've always wanted a semi-auto shotgun. My rebuilt shoulder can't take full power 00 buckshot loads so the pump with a Phoenix AR-style stock has been very nice with lesser loads. The Beretta 1301 should be worth considering but I wonder if you lose most of the recoil reducing benefit of a semi-auto due to the reduced weight. I love the rest of the concept, though. Wish I could try one out. Off to see if I can find a good review of the FN SLP!
