That's a nice buck. Season opens here on Sept. 27. Can't wait.

Northwest Arkansas. I have been hunting deer since I was a young lad. Nowadays I primarily hunt for trophy bucks so I rarely get a shot off. However, I need to cull some does so I plan to harvest several and donate the majority of the meat to Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry.

This is what I was seeing about this time last year. I never got a daytime pic of any of these bucks. They get big for a reason. Maybe one of them will slip up this season.
