That's about as obnoxious as my 1974 Super Beetle that was Sunkist orange and had no muffler! People could hear and see me a mile away!! LOL.

Wow! I had a friend in high school who was convinced he had purchased a car with a high-performance, loud muffler. A couple of weeks later the muffler fell off, and he realized it was just a crappy muffler.

Ha. Mine fell off one night crossing the San Mateo bridge near Sam Francisco. It just got really loud all of a sudden and I never fixed it.
