    Wow. Living in Lowe's land of NC I used to go out of my way to HD since I really like the Founder. This is a sad sad country we are becoming.

    I would cry freedom of speech, but I do think a company is entitled to manage their own brand. I am sorry they decided to comply with something so un-American.

    Let me just point out that this is in Dearborn which has the highest percentage and population of Muslims in the entire country

    The source article for this article does not contain to much information outside of conservative subjectivity. With that said I agree with those arguing against the hypocrisy where one religious group is give special treatment while another isn't. That itself is a violation of freedom of religion and there for un-Americana, but I disagree that a company is un-American just because they are being culturally sensitive to Muslim in a region with a large Muslim population.

    Home Depot is free to practice business as they like, and I am free to shop at Lowe's even though I live in Atlanta, home to Home Depot's HQ. Home Depot, I hope you enjoy your new customer base....buying fertilizer, pipes and matches by the truckload.
