If the description is true and I have no reason to think otherwise (I've been in a mall before) that was money well spent.
Only way it would have been better is if the man let the mom & boy see him unwrap everyone of the pies and throw them in the trash. Now THAT might have been spiteful.
Yes, I see. A poor choice of words/editing. Instead of "better" I meant spiteful and mean....in the spirit of the mint description. Additionally, "everyone" should have been "every one". I must learn not to comment while distracted. Still, the story was hilarious. As an actively engaged dad who takes raising kids seriously I find both spoiled kids and their parents very difficult to tolerate.
