Pin it! When Ralph Mecke was given a camera as a boy the beginning of a lifelong passion was born. A native Berliner, Mecke spent several years assisting Peter Schmidt, the brand identity master of Jil Sander and Toblerone. He later assisted photographer Albert Watson in New York.
