Groan! Hasn't ANYONE read these books to know what a MESS they are? Viewers should be hoping fervently the producers of this show will get an incredible amount of leeway to give Martin's gigantic CF some entertainment value. This guy has no idea where to take the storyline. I'd have to guess Book 1 was supposed to be a stand alone story. At worst, this should have stopped as a trilogy.
And yet I'm on to book 5. Why? Train wreck mentality I guess. You're right in that it should have ended as a trilogy but I think Martin is milking this bad boy for all he's worth. In the end, I believe no character will come out on top. He'll do that just to piss off the readers. And the only reason people got hooked on it on HBO was, let's face it, rampant boobies and sex!

As for the rest, I know Emelia Clarke gets my attention. Love to look at her, can't look away.
