Tom Gresham talked about Target on Guntalk this week (last week? too many podcasts at once). They made the request to placate MDA but actually said in the full statement they wouldn't do anything if CCW's carried into the store and that they were welcome. He was quite gleeful about it. He had made a petition to Target on Change.org about this earlier and it seems to have been successful.

Good to know. I hadn't dug deeper, assuming the worst based on other businesses and I was guilty of "drive by commenting"

Not to worry. We all know the MSM only tells you what they want you to hear. Digging deeper isn't always a quick and efficient proposition.
