What are the chances that the GOP will learn from this and try to be less shitty? I'm not going to hold my breath, even though I am.
I think the attraction of power is stronger than the attraction of common sense and integrity. It doesn't help that the media drumbeat is largely against the basic common value structure that allows for Brat and Cruz and Lee to win an election.
