Great post and thanks for sharing. I do Photography as a hobby so I have experience in "Photoshoping" my pictures for my own reasons. I have always come to the conclusion is that a pictures is and never has been 'reality'. It is making a statement or is art. It is at the will of those who want to change and interpret it to their whims. It is representative of the 'mind's eye' of the creator. A photograph is two dimensional and we live in a four dimensional world. I think colorizing a picture only rewrites history if we let it.

Let's not forget to let Calvin and Hobbes weigh in: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CWM1zDcmWXs/TroD0VsX4WI/AAAAAAAAAVA/Jc5bN5xSTkc/s1600/ch930919.gif">http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CWM1zDcmWXs/TroD0VsX4WI/AAAAAAAAAVA/Jc5bN5xSTkc/s1600/ch930919.gif

Man, what major life lesson can't be distilled by Calvin and Hobbes? Excellent addition.
