Great idea, but curious how practical it would work with snow and snow removal.

Apparently they are fitted with heaters that keep the snow from sticking in the first place. Now, if one or more panels were to have heater malfunctions that could pose an issue, but I'd imagine they'd have alerts and maintenance procedures in place to solve that problem. The corrugated surface should also help with water runoff as well. Unfortunately I think this is a far too expensive option for large-scale adoption, but could be a fantastic idea for parking lots or private residential neighborhoods.

I think this is the future. I should be integrated as new roads are built and old roads are replaced. The only concern I have is for the bedding under the road, which is what destroys current roadway material. I didn't see much on the full construction of the product

That's a good point. I'd have to imagine that the hexagonal pieces will allow for minute shifting and moving which would protect it from damage from earthquakes, loose foundation etc.
