I agree with having to click through pages the top 3-5 are common sense and somewhat a pain . However there was breeds that I didn't know about or didn't suspect. Kudos to you for knowing all those breeds.
I agree. Training is everything. I had a German Shepherd for 12 years before cancer took her. 110 pounds of pure love. Yes, she defended her family but she never turned on us once. But that is because she was properly trained.
Excellent points. Although some breeds seem a little more disposed to a more aggressive personality, if more owners took the responsibility to understand and train the dog properly there might be less reports of violent attacks.
The sweetest and gentlest dogs I have ever been around/owned are Pit's, German Shepard's, and a Rott I miss dearly. The most frightening would be our Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Don't get me wrong I love that dog and she is every bit my furry little daughter, but the dog is solid muscle and her jaw is like iron. Should a Corgi ever fall to the dark side and attempt world domination the world would know true fear. I know why the Queen uses them on her personal protection detail.

Breed has little to do with it, and more to do with owners who don't understand dogs. Pit bulls are amongst the best family dogs.

I've often wondered if poor dog trainers and owners are more disposed to adopt particular types of dogs.

And why did this link start at #2 as opposed to #1, the pit bull? Perhaps to draw attention away from the breed most maligned in recent years?

Sorry my bad. I liked the picture of the Shepard better. I meant nothing by it.
