I came down for SXSW this year but did not get to see much outside of that event. Hoping to come back during a less busy time to really take it in. In addition to great food and music, there is some awesome residential architecture in Austin. To your point, there are at least 1,000 reasons to visit.

Also the home of Franklin's BBQ. That alone is reason to go.

I agree, so many reasons to visit, and every time I go, I find something new. Next time will try Franklins BBQ for sure.

Only two things can be said that are bad about Austin. Too much traffic and too many liberals.
