I had no idea this was a potential problem of such a serious level until I read CJ Box's Free Fire. We get to learn the dangers in story form. Pretty scary but one of those things we can't fix or run from.

It is new to me as well & I don't know how yet, but I know it has to be because of global warming...and the fault of Congress as well.

It appears they are headed back into the park as they often go to lower elevation in the winter for food and return to the park in the spring.
