I agree. It is unfortunate that it is the people like him that have created their own religion, convincing people that they are the word of God. This has happened all throughout history.
I just pray that Fred found repentance and that God has mercy on his soul. What was surprising was what Phelps did before he went off the rails at Westboro. For example, he was a civil right attorney.

The saddest part of the whole thing, is the people that think this 'man' was a christian, and that his cult was a church.
