You can't play chess without active pieces. That's Enterprise, and she was decommissioned last year! With the proposed budget cuts to the military, she may unfortunately never be properly replaced.
There are still 9 active carrier strike groups, so we're in pretty good shape. Plus, our defense budget is more than the next 11 defense budgets combined.
