Seems to me this might make us hold on too long. I just went through nine months of an online friends dying process. I did my best for her during that time but now letting go feels like what's needed. I'm sure there's lots of good in this, and it will help people but living right now, in the moment like they say, that's what I want.

dying is an interesting process, no doubt. Thanks for sharing your experience. This device makes me feel a little weird.

I just had a friend unexpectedly die, and there's nothing more off-putting than seeing their Facebook profile show up in your timeline.
