It has gotten worse with each new administration. Bush and Obama have progressively amassed power in the executive and I fear what the next administration has in store no matter who is elected. This is NOT the country I grew up loving and respecting. What is worse is that there is a screen of political correct speech/thought that prevents a quality discussion of ideas and critical thought. I feel like David with only a sling and a stone watching the Goliath sized might of a federal behemoth, drunk with its own power, towering over me. I know the one stone I have is "truth" and that it will prevail eventually but after what damage has been done? My government disgusts me. That is all.
"That men mean distinct and separate things when they speak of constitutions and of governments, is evident; or why are those terms distinctly and separately used? A constitution is not the act of a government, but of a people constituting a government; and government without a constitution, is power without a right.
All power exercised over a nation, must have some beginning. It must either be delegated or assumed. There are no other sources. All delegated power is trust, and all assumed power is usurpation. Time does not alter the nature and quality of either."

Sheep. We live amongst sheep. That makes us part of the herd being hunted. I don't like that at all.
