I'm having a little trouble deciding where the U.S. is in all this. Some of it is so absurd that it sounds just like something Obama would decree.

I'd have to say the U.S. is a mix of Fascism and Representative Democracy.

Definitely oversimplified but it does seem to accurately point out some of the flaws with each system. I'd wager we are a combination of capitalism and representative democracy, which is pretty spot on!
