I know establishment Republicans bag on guys like Paul, Ted Cruz and Tom Cotton but I love them! As David Horowitz says, these establishment appeaser types are now the "progressives", the Democrats have become the outright Communists. And he should know, having grown up working with them. Hmm, maybe I should put up a tack for "The Black Book of the American Left: The Collected Conservative Writings of David Horowitz". Fascinating stuff.

    Fight on, Rand!

Regarding your decision to tack; information and awareness are power. And these issues are very relevant to the times in which we live.

"Democrats have become the outright Communists."

You forgot to mention traitor RINOs like McCain/Boehner who are just as Commie as the Dems.

I have long considered myself a staunch Republican....but. Folks like McCain, Romney and Boehner are really disappointing me right now. I'm really beginning to warm up to Paul and Cruz. There is a bigger problem that is facing the GOP at the moment: infighting. They really need to stop bickering amongst themselves and get back to pointing this country's political compass away from Socialism/Communism and back to good ole Capitalism. I kind of like being rewarded for my hard work and I get particularly pissed off knowing that every month a portion of my paycheck is being stolen to pay for some lazy chump who won't work.

I absolutely understand what you are all saying. But here's how they beat us to death: they understand incremental victory. They understand that their candidate is THEIR candidate, they don't generally mope around and refuse to vote for the guy who doesn't share ALL their ideals. If every Republican who got out and voted for McCain had voted for Romney, he would possibly have won (Electoral College disclaimer) and the situation wouldn't be nearly as bad. Even the weakest-kneed RINO will sign what Congress sends him so a few good changes would have to appear, lame though we might consider them. That said, I'm not against voting for a new third party candidate. I'd rather not as it is true: every vote for a Libertarian (or some new party) is a vote for (name the Democrat). Tough choice but I hate these establishment GOP'ers. Boehner must go, for example.
