While the integrity of WND is questionable at best, it is interesting how this string of dismissals has been widely overlooked. I'd be interested in hearing more specifically what misconduct these officers are being accused of, and how much of it is related to issues regarding homosexuality and male/female integration.
On the lighter side, the comments section of this article is a gold mine of cringe-worthy statements. Hilarious.

I read the article, mostly because I wanted to see the cringe-worthy statements.
The best comment I saw, did the math on the number of officers being fired, and size of the total force. The firing rate is 0.3% - hardly a purge.
