The homebrewers bible. This is the "official site", but you can't even buy the book there. Whatever. You should know this book and probably own it if you are a brewer or want to get started.

Personally I bought both that one and "the joy of the home brewing" (also hard to find.) when I bought my kit five years ago. And I've never used this book...ever. Myself and my other home-brew friends will refer back to the JoHB pretty often. And most people I know refer to that one as the Homebrewer's Bible. Idk...but its also pretty good.

OK, maybe I exaggerated. I own both, and have read both. I guess 90% of what I know is from conversation with other brewers, but these two books are standard fare for brewers guides!
