    Hey, thanks for pointing this out to us. It really helps us out if people use the link to report spammers when they start doing this stuff. We'd like to be able to catch them as quickly as possible, but it's tough for us to always keep an eye on what everyone is posting.

    @wedding_emporium ...

    the point of objection has
    nothing to do with lingerie, but rather that these are essentially ads. if you were a toolmaking biz or beer brewery, my objection would be the same. check around the site and you may get a better feel for what it's about.

    i'm just a member here, not an admin, and these opinions are mine.

    I didn't think spam at first, nice catch. I was concerned we might start seeing too many lingerie posts. If I want to see that there's a billion other websites to visit.

    do you seriously not get it?

    1/ it's not about the lingerie

    2/ dropping links as recommendations of things that are for sale is not equal to advertising your own biz

    3/ your attitude is worse than your ads

    @wedding_emporium ...

    WOW! Really?

    I hope any Gentlemen that were "thinking" about looking up or linking to your site reads these comments and see's just what kinda of whinny, crying little babies you are!
    Again if you would take to time to look at this site you would realize it's not about 1/2 naked women, there are a million+ other sites for that.

    If you were indeed a professional “marketer” you would have taken this situation and turned it into an opportunity. Instead you chose to alienate everyone from your products because of your attitude. A good marketer would have been smart enough to use this occasion to create fans rather than foes.

    Gentlemint is different than Pinterest. Obviously you have not done your homework nor taken the time to understand the demographics of the target market. This is another sign that you are not an experienced marketing professional.

    Real marketers don’t pimp products using carnival-style tactics. Instead they build trusted brands that people want to follow, be a part of and remain loyal to for many years. Don’t confuse gimmicky internet sales tactics with marketing as they are completely different fields.

    Your last comment had little or no punctuation, incredibly poor use of grammar and six emoticons. This would indicate you are an incredibly poor communicator. This is likely a result of your youth and lack of real-world experience. If you want credibility, please learn the proper use of the language which is used by the majority of the target market you are attempting to reach. In this case, English.

    Lastly, your threat to get around any attempts by the site owners to block you is very serious. This not only proves you are not a marketer but also give credence to an earlier comment that you are a spammer who is really to use unethical means to promote products and services. Not a wise move.

    It has been made clear your efforts are not welcome here as they do not fit the intended audience. A true marketing professional knows when to gracefully bow out of an unsuccessful campaign and move on to one that is more prosperous. This is a lesson you could benefit from as well.

    Wow, as a married chap who loves to buy Lingerie for his wife, what a TOOLBOX. Ban Hammer on @wedding_emporium please. And as a web developer and internet marketer, what a major fail in the how to handle things department. One link to your store would of been fine, but Keyword dense multiple links prove your out to purposefully spam, not share.

    Hey guys, thank you so much for backing us up on this unfortunate incident. I have banned this user from the site and we'll take care of the rest from here.

    When we built this site, we did it to grow an awesome community, and we care a great deal about the individuals that participate and contribute to it.

    This isn't Pinterest and we couldn't possibly care less about marketing or anything that would take our attention away from the people that were here from day one to make this site so great. I apologize for this person's rant, their lame posts and I wish I could have caught it sooner.

    I can't thank you guys enough for being such a great group of contributors and telling this outsider what Gentlemint is all about.
