Instead of replacing the 5D Mk II Canon decided to create something between it and their flagship, the 1D. The result is the low-light destroying 5D Mk III. An all-new 22.3-megapixel full-frame sensor, up to ISO 102,400, 6fps shooting, a 61-point AF system, and 1080p video in a weather-proof magnesium chassis.
