Mulan as a Kyoshi warrior is too obvious and not well thought out. The whole point of the Kyoshi warriors was a side-story where Sokka (a male) learns the non-bending skills of the all-female Kyoshi Warriors.
And Eric (littlest mermaid) as Sokka adds a layer of creepiness to Ariel taking Katara's place (Sokka and Katara are bro/sis)
