Got mine for free and still haven't used it once but it sure pokes the shit out my leg though my pocket like a champ.

LOL, good to know. More than likely this thing is probably meant to hang outside of the pocket rather than be in it.

If you put it between two keys it sits in place and won't stab you. I had to fiddle with it at first, but I put it between two keys and it solved my problems. I use it pretty often.

I love this thing! I've used it in more ways then I could have ever imagined and only slightly less then my Leatherman Multi-tool. I really like to use it in the field for gun maintenance during hunting season. I now own two Shards, one on my set of car keys and the other on the set of keys to my wife's car. I was carrying both sets when i took my wife's car just so I always had the shard. I got the second one free at a Cabela's grand opening. I don't know about anyone else but the shard can't be found in CO stores; even the Gerber rep confirmed it. You have to purchase it online. I love it so much that for Christmas this year I'm ordering a bunch to give to all the guys in my family along with all my mates. As to it poking me in the pocket, it's never been a problem. I just put it between two keys.
