I don't quite understand the article though. The "official" didn't look like he was wearing an American uniform and why would the imported vehicle still have international tags?
Stupidity at its best. Maybe reclycling the usefull parts of the car could have been a great idea... And less pollution also. Just the tires should have earn this agency a thousand dollars... But you don't need that when you have taxes...
