Replace the Jack Daniel's Honey with plain Jack, or any other plain whiskey, and I would agree. I don't think there's been one Honey whiskey that I have actually liked.

I agree for the most part. Try Evan Williams Honey, It's good, but better is the Evan Williams Cherry. I've found that no flavored whiskey tastes any good unless you keep it in the freezer and drink it chilled, but freezers aren't readily available in most survival situations.
