June 16th – Big government doesn’t like fatherhood. “The Life of Julia” was President Obama’s ad campaign last year advocating cradle to grave socialism for women. The expansion of welfare programs has seen out-of-wedlock births increase over 800% since 1960. And ever notice how lib Hollywood often portrays fathers and very rarely mothers as morons in films and on TV? Ads too. Their message is crystal clear, who needs fathers when government can be your daddy. Their message is 100% wrong. These stats come from the U.S. Dept. of Health, the CDC, the DOJ and others. Children from fatherless homes are: a) 5 times more likely to commit suicide b) 32 times more likely to run away c) 14 times more likely to commit rape d) 20 times more likely to develop behavioral problems e) 9 times more likely to drop out of high school f) 10 times more likely to become drug addicted & g) 20 times more likely to end up in prison There’s a reason why it’s called Father’s Day and not Sperm Donor’s Day. Fathers are and always will be important!
