as long as it's no more expensive than using the headphone plug of an old, broken set of cheap headphones, since all it is is a switch, a small resistor (to suck up the small electrical current of the sounds), and the heaphone plug from an old iphone headset (the third band marks it as a smartphone headset). it is prettier than a broken headphone plug.
