Pin it! PlayTown is a brand new multiplayer virtual world which is promised to bring a unique experience of a social adventure world. According to the developer, the game is based on Free to Play mode with optional purchase of virtual goods. PlayTown has gone more than 1 and a half years of development by a talented team! From the newly-release trailer, the game may be full of potential which allow players to roam freely with their characters, doing a lot of social activities, making much customization to characters and avatars, and many more to come. At the moment, there is no information whether it can be played on browsers or facebook or needs an installed client.

Have we really come to this? Do we need a virtual world to roam freely and share social experiences?
There may be place for this, but it is disconcerting to consider how much more of our social world will be virtual in the future.
