I fish out of my yak almost exclusively. So much so that I sold my bass boat last year because I was not using it as much as the yak. They are awesome and you will not regret the purchase. I currently have a sit-on-top model made by Ocean. Good boat but thinking about adding an Ultimate 12 by Native Watercraft (http://nativewatercraft.com/boat.cfm?id=5">http://nativewatercraft.com/boat.cfm?id=5) to my collection. It is more of a canoe/kayak hybrid but so stable you can stand up and walk from one end of the boat to another. You can also use them for duck hunting. Plenty of storage for up to three dozen decoys. You might also check out the yaks made by Jackson. Another solid option in addition to Native and Ocean.
