There've been a lot of nay sayers with regards to Tillman's sacrifice, citing their own or their relatives similar sacrifice. I don't think the uplifting part of his story is that he fought and died for his country. Rather, that he gave up a very lucrative career and comfortable life to fight and die for his country. That is the mark of a true patriot and for that I tip my hat to Mr. Tillman and thank him and his family for their sacrifice. Semper Fi
Another of the young people wasted in Iraq and Afghanistan, albeit a special one. I envy his courage to walk away from a nice paycheck as much as I envy his courage in the face of danger.

The documentary is well worth viewing. He had great principles, was a man of honor and was not afraid to speak his truth.
